The March 2018 issue of Juice was inspired by all things local, from food to fashion and fun.

With an increase in consumer consciousness and awareness around where our goods come from and how they’re made, this month’s travel section was inspired by living local.

We take a trip out to the Cape Winelands to visit the historical Boschendal Estate for some farm-to-table cooking before heading off to Penhill Manor to meet some Langeberg locals.

Travelling done, we meet some influencers from around South Africa who are driving the #zerowaste movement to reduce the amount of rubbish that’s sent to landfills and conserve the environment for future generations. Fashion activist Cyril Naiker gives us a rundown on what buying locally made clothing can do for both the economy and the environment.

And because the food you put into your body is just as important as the clothes you put on it, we take a look at how changing the way you eat can change the world.
