Johannesburg Ballet
The St Petersburg Ballet went to the Teatro Montecasino in Johannesburg. This little blurb about their shows appeared in Juice magazine’s September 2017 issue.
Founded in 1994, the St Petersburg Ballet is renowned for its beautiful Vaganova-trained dancers and grand full-length productions. The company will return to the Teatro Montecasino from 15 to 24 September to perform two of the world’s most-loved ballets: Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
Watch star-crossed lovers overcome the evil antics of a villainous sorcerer in Swan Lake and prove that true love conquers all. Then bring on a bit of cheer with a classic Christmas tale. The Nutcracker will take you on a fantastic adventure into a world where dreams really do come true.
